Dame Jacqueline Wilson – coming to Coventry next June 2014 to collect a Lifetime Inspiration Award at Literally Coventry Book Awards



Four tickets to an upcoming Jacqueline Wilson event, including an exclusive meet and greet with Jacqueline and signed copies of a selection of her books


The prize is for four tickets to an upcoming Jacqueline Wilson event, the date of which will be mutually convenient both to Jacqueline’s and the successful bidder’s schedules

The tickets can be for one adult and three children (aged 9+) or two adults and two children (aged 9+)

Travel to the event for four people will be included in the prize (UK & Ireland travel only)

The meet and greet with Jacqueline will take place either before or after the event


Dame Jacqueline Wilson wrote her first novel when she was nine years old and has been writing ever since. She is a former Children’s Laureate and a multi award-winning, best-selling author who has now written 106 books which have sold over 40 million copies in the UK alone and have been translated into 34 different languages.


Her latest book Wave Me Goodbye is set during the opening months of World War Two and features ten-year-old child evacuee, Shirley.


A third series of the hugely popular CBBC TV adaptation of Hetty Feather is currently on air. A Picturing Hetty Feather exhibition is also on display until 3rd September at The Foundling Museum in London.


Jacqueline Wilson is the Chancellor at the University of Roehampton where she is also a visiting Professor of Children’s Literature. Jacqueline also holds Honorary Doctorates from the Universities of Bath, Dundee, Kingston and Winchester.
