642: Editorial critique from Alexandra Antscherl


ITEM: An editorial critique on your middle grade or YA fiction work (first 3 chapters and synopsis)

DETAILS: Alex will give you editorial advice and guidance on your work-in-progress or finished manuscript (first 3 chapters and full synopsis of a YA or MG novel). Critique will be sent via email with a follow-up phone call, if time difference allows. If not, follow-up will be by email.

BIO: Alexandra Antscherl has over 20 years’ experience as an editor in children’s publishing and loves contemporary or historical fiction, particularly books with realistic family or other relationships at their heart. She has worked extensively with bestselling author Jacqueline Wilson and is the UK editor of the 2017 Carnegie Medal-winner, Salt to the Sea, by Ruta Sepetys. Having worked at HarperCollins, Random House and Penguin, she is currently Editorial Director for Enid Blyton Entertainment at Hachette Children’s Group. She has also been a judge of the Commonword Prize for BAME writers of children’s fiction.
