BIO: Kester Grant is a British-Mauritian writer of color, and debut author of A Court of Miracles (Fall 2018, Knopf, Random House), a Young Adult fantasy reimagining of the Jungle Book and Les Miserables.     I can’t believe that a good thing can come out of this horrible tragedy that I can’t get out of my mind. But I have had an idea in my head for a YA fantasy book for years now and I’ve finally started to write it. So to get help with it while donating to this wonderful community charity is fantastic.
